Police advise a 16-year-old boy has died after being mauled by three pit bulls contained in the fenced yard of a Dallas-design dwelling where the canines lived.
Irving police on Sunday announced the boy’s demise. One officer turned into handled for a dog chew.
A police statement says officers responded around 5 a.m. Saturday to reviews of a dog assault and arrived to search out the canines mauling the boy, who did now not dwell on the dwelling. The teen died Saturday night time at a hospital. His name hasn’t been released.
Police shot one amongst the canines, who later needed to be euthanized. The other two were taken to a shelter.
Irving police are investigating why the teen turned into on the dwelling. The owner told investigators that the boy turned into trespassing.
