McDonald’s fired its CEO after he violated firm policy by having a “consensual” relationship with an unnamed worker, the quick-food chain announced on Sunday.
Steve Easterbrook became at the helm of the quick-food behemoth since 2015. He’ll be succeeded by Chris Kempczinski, 51, who previously served because the firm’s aged head of U.S. industry.
In a news release, McDonald’s mentioned Easterbrook became ousted “following the Board’s resolution that he violated firm policy and demonstrated miserable judgment appealing a recent consensual relationship with an worker.”
The firm didn’t provide extra well-known parts relating to the relationship.
