Petr Cech won four Premier League titles with Chelsea

Used Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has swapped grass for ice by signing for National Ice Hockey League personnel Guildford Phoenix as a goaltender.

The Czech, a spacious fan of the game, has bought his skates on after engaged on his game since retiring from soccer.

“I’m hoping I will relieve this younger personnel stop their targets,” Cech, 37, acknowledged.

“After Twenty years of knowledgeable soccer, that is going to be a marvelous abilities for me to play the game I loved to see and play as a miniature bit one.”

Cech, who arrived in Britain in 2004 having signed for the Blues, adopted top-flight Elite Ice Hockey League aspect Guildford Flames as his personnel.

Cech, who made 124 appearances for the Czech Republic, won four Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League and Europa League all over his time as a footballer in England.

Posting on Twitter on Wednesday evening after the announcement, he acknowledged: “Some of us appear to teach I’ve modified my job. No I did not.

Andy Hemmings, Guildford’s head coach, acknowledged: “The signing of Petr is big for the Phoenix, he is a big guy who trains irritating and I cannot wait to focal point on him carry out his debut.”
