Trailer for Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’ Hunted Down by Doppelgängers! [Video] – Bloody Disgusting

Universal Photos has unwrapped the first trailer for Us, writer-director Jordan Peele‘s hotly anticipated followup to Earn Out.

The legend is made up our minds within the video show day and follows Adelaide and Gabe Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke) as they make a choice their kids to Adelaide’s veteran childhood beachside home in Northern California for the summer season. After a day on the seaside with the Tyler household (which entails Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker), Adelaide — who’s unnerved by a lingering trauma from her previous — becomes more and more more paranoid that one thing depraved will happen to her household. As night falls, the Wilsons see four figures holding palms and standing silently on the backside of their driveway…

“[Us] turns into this relentless nightmare that faucets into [Adelaide’s] deepest fears and ours as smartly — the basis that we also would possibly perchance perchance be our bear worst enemies,” Nyong’o told EW last week.

Peele and his solid are tight-lipped in regards to the horrors that befall the Wilsons, but Peele does repeat to the journal one key element: The monsters in his film are called the Tethered. 

“For my second feature, I wished to rep a monster mythology,” Peele added. “I wished to attain one thing that became but again firmly within the alarm model but aloof held on to my esteem of movies that are zigzag but enjoyable.”

Universal has dated Us for March 15, 2019.
